The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation is Canada’s largest cancer charity dedicated to raising funds for Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the world’s leading cancer research and treatment centres, known for its breakthrough discoveries that transform patient outcomes. Through philanthropy, fundraising events, and their world-leading home lottery program, they are changing how the world understands, prevents, diagnoses, and treats cancer, benefitting patients at The Princess Margaret, throughout Canada, and around the world.
The Walk to Conquer Cancer is an annual half-marathon fundraising event organized by The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in Toronto. It brings together thousands of participants to support life-saving cancer research at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
My role was to help the in-house design team create print and digital assets to support the Walk and help participants reach their fundraising goals. This included communications such as e-mails, social media posts, and updating web graphics. I also created event day materials—participant lanyards, t-shirts, hats, bags and various route signage.
